Surrounded by lakes, rivers, streams and gently rolling hills, Rasputine Lodge is located in the true wilderness. An Alaska style fly-out lodge allows experiencing Karelia in a personal way. Fish here for salmon, brook trout, bull-trout, trout, zander, bream, pike, perch. Wild salmon and hunchback salmon are common, wild salmon weighs on average 8 - 16 lb. Our pilots regard your air safety as paramount and our safety record is impeccable.

The area surrounding Rasputine Fishing Lodge is a mix of tundra and spruce forests. Even more exciting is the Karelia style wildlife that lives, or wanders, by the lodge. The most productive streams and rivers are minutes from the lodge. Each day we fly our guests and their expert guide to a different location for fishing. You are instrumental in planning each day. We like to do it "your way."

Keeping the location of the camp secret ensures seclusion and productivity. We also have jet-boats and rafts that allow alternate access to the surrounding rivers, streams and lakes.

Our special aircraft, float equipped Helio-Couriers, permit us entry to areas conventional float planes find impossible. It permits you to fish territories in Karelia where few, or no others, have ventured.
